The Dells covers more than 199 acres. We cut and maintain over 120 acres. There are areas of the course that carts are not permitted. These are designated NO GO ZONES. Simply stay on the cart path or on the short fairway grass avoiding Tees, Greens, Bunkers, ditches and tall grass and you'll have no issues. Watch the cart monitors for warnings and further instructions.
Cart Rules
The Dells golf carts are allowed for use on the course only. All Cart Drivers must have a valid license & sign the cart register (16ys of age minimum).
The assigned driver of a Golf Cart is liable for all damages other than normal wear and tear.
Carts are not permitted in the parking area before the round or during the turn, no exceptions.
Do not turn the cart off during the round, it may take up to 5 minutes to resync the GPS.
All carts are monitored by GPS. We record all cart movement for every round. Failure to follow our cart guidelines may result in being asked to leave without refund and/or prohibit your ability to participate at The Dells in the future.
Our golf carts are designed for two riders and two bags only. A third rider or bag is not allowed, including children.
Carts on Paths – 90 Degree Rule always unless cart path only (see onboard cart monitors) or posted signs. Do not drive down the middle of the fairways, stay on the cart path turn 90 degrees out to your ball - drive straight back to the cart path.
We require carts to remain on the cart path during wet conditions or at other times in order to avoid damaging turf areas.
All Par 3’s at The Dells Golf Club are Cart Path Only at ALL TIMES!
When off the path, we ask that you remain on the short cut fairway grass. Use caution (and take it slowly) when exiting and reentering the cart path to avoid damaging the cart and/or path - you are responsible for any and all damages to your cart.
Carts must stay a minimum of 30 yds away from all Tees, Greens, Bunkers and Hazards at all times unless on the Cart Path. If you get too close, your cart will become disabled instructing you to reverse out of the area.
Do Not drive carts into wooded areas, in native grass areas, or into the rough surrounding the fairways for any reason. This will cause the cart to complete stop and you'll have to push.
Return carts to clubhouse (designated area) immediately following your round.
You must return your Cart no later than 10 minutes prior to closing - failure to return your cart by closing will result in additional charges.
